SWSWSW. Some will, some won't, so what... Some will love you, some won't, some will hate you, some won't, some will envy you, some won't, some will be inspired by you, some won't... so what. Keep living by your heart’s guidance and all will become clear.

The best advice my mom has given me is not to fight with strangers on the internet about political things.

The best advice my mother has ever given me regarding parenting is, “If you come from a place of love, you can never go wrong.”

The best advice my mom gave me was to take three breaths before getting out of the car and before every transition, and I still do that to this day and it helps keep me centered.

The best advice my mother gave me was to always be generous with your smile and share it with everyone you meet. It's free, and it produces endorphins, which are good for you and you just may lift up someone’s day! It's one way of sharing a loving and positive potential ripple effect into the world... and right now this world needs all the love it can get, and sharing a smile can change everything.

My mother said to never marry my demons, like you can be friendly with your shadows and your past and stuff like that, but you don't want to commit to them or make them a part of the family.  You greet your problems like an acquaintance at your door, but you don't have to invite them in for dinner.

My mother told me to never borrow anything and work hard for what you get and never count on the banks because it's a debt society.

In 2016, right before my mother passed away, our last conversation, I was in tears for some reason I can't remember, and she said, "You know Zuki, don't worry. Stress is a waste of time." And that was really, honestly the best advice she ever gave me, right before she died.

The best advice my mom gave me is when she told me just to be yourself and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The best thing my momma ever told me? After months of begging for a drum set and daily reminders of drum solos on the furniture and dishes and even her car, she finally bought me a used mid-80s Ludwig set and some crappy cymbals. "This wasn't cheap," she said, "so you'd better play 'em!"
