What are you most grateful for?

God, guts and guns. Oh! And life, love and laughter.

I am most grateful for my heritage, the opportunity to learn growing up, how to raise food off the land. And we're very thankful for people here in Crestone, especially, that appreciate our good food that we raise. And so yeah, thankful for our country and for family and health, and that's about the main things I can think of.

I'm really thankful for the health of my family and my friends and everyone. That's definitely the biggest thing. I'm happy and thankful for the health of everyone..

I am most grateful that we are made in the image and likeness of God, the "I am, that I am." Very exciting, because the way we are made in God's image and likeness is how we know and how we love. It has nothing to do with our bodies. When my daughter was three years old, I was reading the children's Bible to her, and she said, "Mommy, how are we made in the image and likeness of God if we have a body and he doesn't?" So I called our priest and asked him, and he said, "In how we know and how we love. It has *nothing* to do with our bodies." Isn't that something? A three year old? Ya learn something new every day!

I am grateful for the trees that provide us air and the sun that provides us warmth.

I am grateful for waking up every morning, going into the bathroom and looking in the mirror and seeing myself looking back at me. Occasionally, it's a little scary because sometimes I see my father looking back at me. But it's still what I'm grateful for every morning.
